Exhibit notes and artists statement:

I am an outgoing person in daily life, I easily recover when someone blames me. I also look everything in an optimistic perspective. For example, when I get an important essay test which is really difficult. I think this big test is a chance to improve my recent score for this subject.

I create my project which is a video through my iPad. I took videos and pictures and put them together to create a long video. I used various scenes to show how perspectives can change the motion when you look at the picture.

In this class, I have explored myself as a creative person because I usually look at objects from different perspectives. For example, distance, emotion, direction. I often look at the objects from those three perspectives and that help me to have a better understanding of each object.

This piece is showing to everyone that perspective can decide one’s emotion and thinking. For example, in one of my pictures you could see an animal or you can see just lines crossing with each other.

I learned that creativity is not just being creative and being imaginative but also can explore things that appear in daily life. For example, you can think deeply about the falling leaves. 

I want the reader to think deeply for everythings in my video can have something in their mind before my creative idea appears on the video.

For homework, think about the DAT creativity test we did in class today compared with the Torrance test of creativity (similar to The Little Prince activity). We will begin tomorrow's class with a reflective writing and discussion.  DAT creativity test was less useful than the Torrance test of creativity because for the Torrance test you draw something abstract and draw something specific. During the walk, I found out that I was most inspired by the tender shoot or new lives. Because in the  moon board as you can see, there are many pictures of a new life. They grow up on the wall, or between the rocks. They showed a strong vitality to me, and I was impressed by them. However, I also get stuck on what I am going to create, and my artists helped me to make a connection with my inspiration. Eyes always see and told the truth, and this make me to imagine the fairy tale The Emperor's New Cloth. This inspired me to make a strong connection between eyes, new life, and the child and the similarities they have is that they all tell the truth. Actually, I didn't decide to make a bag at first but decided to make a dress, but I found that I didn't get enough time.
